Nice little place small dining room picnic tables outside and take out great soups and grilled cheeses all homemade.. . Can take a little while if they're busy but very good

This shop is gluten free for soups. I haven't had a bad soup yet. Service is always friendly and fast.

The clam chowder and seafood chowder were both great, filling, tasty and fresh. The fresh-made toasted breakfast sandwich was top-notch, perfect balance and not at all greasy. Real treasure spot!

Best clam strips I've ever had.

The soup is always good, but the sandwiches can be a little flimsy. However, if the young woman with the very short dark brown hair is on the sandwiches and salads, then everything is very well put together.

Went to pick up an over the phone order after telling them which vehicle I will be pulling up in and having my name on the order. Repeated my name and my meal to the person handing me the order just to drive away and see that it wasn't our order or name. Called back to ask what we should do and she replied that she called out the wrong name and we picked it up anyways and didn't offer to have us come back and pick up our order, only that she could refund our money, even if we did pick up the wrong order the customer service was very disappointing. Safe to say we will not be dining at that location again.

Wow. I heard the chowder was good from the staff at the Gazette. The seafood chowder blew me away. The chicken Caesar salad was spot on! I went in looking for clam chowder but the owner challenged me to try the seafood. I said I would bring it back if I didn’t like it. The mug was empty. Place was hopping.

Great selection of soups. Some are a tad salty but not enough to detract from the overall flavor. Limited seating, Great for take-out. Friendly staff, amazing and creatively stuffed oversized pop-overs, and terrific build'em-yourself grilled cheese sandwiches. Just off I-91 in Northampton. Well worth a stop in.

Food is amazing! The staff is very friendly and patient. Great coffee too. Prices are just right. Not too high, especially for the quality of the food

First time in and it just happened to be my birthday! Had an awesome grilled cheese and a pint of chowder. Was the BOMB! Quick and easy and the staff were super nice. Natalia and Molly won me over with guesses on my age being 10-15 years low. I’ll take it! Great job girls! You earned 2 new customers!

We ordered by phone from outside, got exactly what we wanted in a timely way, and ate at a picnic table with a little brown bunny munching clover nearby.

Great service, friendly staff, delicious food, amazing specials everyday that have never disappointed!! You will be very happy with this place for breakfast or lunch... if you've never been, you don't know what you're missing!!!!

Really cool little casual place. Awesome for a quick snack or lunch - exactly what we needed. Fresh homemade soups and pop-overs (which I learned today are basically Yorkshire puddings). Staff was very friendly and food was great!

The food was mediocre. The hott hott Tuna sandwich was a basic plain tasteless sandwich nothing special for $10 way over priced with no french fries... The crab patty or haddock was burnt to black I actually dont know what it was. The fried clams were the best choice but yet again for $20 it was the best choice but small portion. For the price the consumer is getting a bad deal. Truthful review here.

We used Smithsonian Caterers as the caterer for our Wedding in Northampton Mass. Throughout the process, Peter was exceptional to work with, and was incredibly flexible and able to make changes to the menu as we asked. Most importantly, the food and cupcakes were incredible.

Fresh made sandwich and soups. I had the chicken Baja and it was great my wife ordered fried fish and chips and she loved it, she really liked that it was not greasy. The size of the food is large and the price is right.

Good food, good coffee, limited seating at rush hours.Highly recommend their chicken pot pie in a popover, a plain popover w/ flavoured butter, or any of the soups. They sell esselon cafe coffee, iced or hot. Esselon cafe has excellent coffee. They have actual half&half in the fridge, none of that fake stuff and a variety of sweeteners. They also have a variety of sandwich options ranging from grilled cheese to fancy-ish paninis.The desserts are tasty but sometimes a bit heavy.
